Terms of service

These terms cover ordering fruit boxes from Fruit Now, a service operated by Zaions (Pvt) Ltd in Lahore, Pakistan. They're written in plain words on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask us on WhatsApp before ordering.

1. The service

Fruit Now prepares and delivers boxes of fresh-cut fruit to offices and homes in Lahore. Fruit is seasonal: the mix in your box varies with what's good at the market that morning, while box prices stay as published on our pricing page. Orders are placed via WhatsApp, our website forms, or an agreed standing schedule (a subscription).

2. Prices and payment

  • Current prices are listed on the pricing page (for example, a Small Box is Rs 150). The price confirmed when you order is the price you pay.
  • We currently accept cash on delivery and bank transfer against an invoice. JazzCash and Easypaisa are planned but not live yet.
  • Companies are invoiced per their agreed terms (weekly or monthly, with any agreed net-payment period). Invoices are itemised per delivery.

3. Deliveries

We deliver in chilled, insulated boxes within our published coverage areas in Lahore, in the morning window agreed with you. If we can't deliver (weather, vehicle breakdown, force majeure), we'll tell you as early as possible and you won't be charged for that delivery.

4. Skips, changes and cancellation

  • Skip a day free by telling us on WhatsApp before 8pm the night before. Skipped days are never charged.
  • Same-day cancellation: an order can be cancelled free until our kitchen starts preparing it that morning. After preparation starts, the order is payable (we'll still try to redirect it rather than waste it).
  • Subscriptions have no lock-in. Change or stop your schedule any time with one day's notice. There are no cancellation fees, ever.

5. Quality, refunds and credits

If a box isn't fresh or is otherwise not right, tell us the same day. We will replace the box or credit its full price against your next order or invoice — your choice. For prepaid or invoiced amounts covering undelivered or faulty boxes, we issue a credit; where a credit doesn't make sense (for example, you're stopping the service), we refund via the payment method you used. No forms, no quibbling.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Give us an accurate delivery address and a reachable phone number.
  • Refrigerate cut fruit if you're not eating it soon — it's a fresh product with a same-day shelf life once opened.
  • Tell us about allergies or exclusions when ordering; we'll flag what we can't guarantee.

7. Liability

We carry food-handling responsibility for the boxes we prepare, up to the value of the affected order. We're not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Pakistani consumer law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service grows (for example, when online payments go live). The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version; material changes are announced to active customers before they apply.
